The Ascholia approach

A thinking partner.
A next step you own.

Start with what is happening in your world. Your coach helps you explore the question beneath the question, notice assumptions, and consider what you want to do.

Coaching comes first. Information and planning have a place when you request them, with a clear distinction between reflection, factual guidance, and action.

  1. 01
    Agree on what matters

Set the focus in your own words. If you are unsure, begin with a recent experience and explore it together.

  2. 02
    Understand the whole situation

Look at skills, choices, relationships, and the system around you. A structural constraint should not be treated as a personal failing.

  3. 03
    Choose a practical next step

Identify a small action or experiment, decide when to try it, and reflect on what you learn.

CLASSROOM PRACTICE

“I’m putting more time into planning, but my students still seem disengaged.”

“Think of a recent lesson when students were more involved. What was different in that moment?”

Explore the pattern before choosing a change. Your next step might be one small teaching experiment that you decide to try.

Ascholia provides the shared coaching architecture. P20 is the education coaching umbrella for teachers, administrators, and boards. Distinguished Teacher is the specialist educator brand within the wider ecosystem.

Is this a live coaching service?

Does coaching replace professional or legal advice?

No. P20 supports reflection, learning, leadership, and decisions. It does not establish policy compliance, provide legal or clinical advice, or replace the professional responsibilities of educators, administrators, and boards. Ascholia does not claim ICF certification or affiliation.
